Marti Skold from Good Things Utah came to Aliiva's class and did a segment. Alivia thought it was pretty cool she would be on TV. It was cute her class got a kick out of it. You can only see glimpses of Alivia about 3 time but she is my little star. Love you Liv. You can Click on the link to watch the segment.

Santa!

We went over and saw Santa this weekend. The kids were so excited. I was worried Porter would cry, although he told me he wanted to sit on his lap. They all had to take their lists to show him. Santa had a special mail box that would send their lists straight to the North Pole. They were so cute. Alivia and Kate was not scared at all they just wanted him to know exactly what they wanted. Porter did great he jumped right up their and pointed at his list. As we walked out Porter was sure to tell everyone he sat on Santa's lap. Watching my kids at Christmas you can feel spirit of Christmas and makes it so much fun.

Feild Trip and Choir Fun!

Its been a busy month at the school the girls have had plays field trips both to The Tree House in Ogden. Also Kate had a Christmas Choir performance, yes Christmas and we have not even had Thanksgiving. I was able to go to both field trips. I love seeing the girls with their classmates. Alivia jumped at any opportunity to show off. Kate loved riding the big bus and enjoyed it just as much she just was not quite sure about joining the stories. They both were so adorable with their class I am blessed to have such amazing little girls.

This was Alivia playing a bunny in one of the stories at The Tree House.

PETER AND THE WOLF!

Today we watched Alivia in a Peter and the wolf performance at her school. Alivia played a bird. They did it to a recorded story with music, so they had no lines. I loved it just as much they all were so cute playing their part. She definitely is not shy. I am so proud of her she is doing great in school. I hope she continues to love it always.

Halloween!

I love Halloween! This year it rained on us trick or treating which did not slow the kids down any. We got to go decorate haunted houses and cupcakes at Grandpa Jim and Grandma Chyrel following trick or treating. We then got to go to Nana's house for her traditional halloween party the kids had a blast.

Mique's Wedding

We all went to Idaho Falls for a weekend to attend Mique's reception. We had a blast. She is so happy. It was fun to get away for a weekend. We enjoyed dancing and mingling at the party. The kids loved swimming at the hotel and we loved hanging around the falls before heading home. Congrats Mique.

It really was so beautiful.

Walk to Remember!

Every year we like to go to an event called The Walk To Remember. This event has become very close to our hearts. Its a walk to remember those sweet little babies that left us way too soon, such as miscarriages and still births. We go in honor of my sweet little niece that left us to be a special angel. Gracie is in our hearts and we think of her all the time. It breaks my heart each year when the number of people increase that attend. These special little spirits, that we miss and love so much.

JC's Update....

Well it has been a long 9 weeks, especially for JC. He has been not been able to bear any weight. So getting around has not been fun. Yesterday he went to the doctor and now can bear some weight and try to walk alittle he will still need his crutches, but finally some progress.. Physical Therapy starts and it will be aggressive, I am thinking it wont be fun and will probably be painful. The doctor prescribed it for 4 weeks to help gain flexibility and strength. Lets just hope that they don't find more damage. We will see if something has been torn once the physical therapy starts. Cross your fingers, I pray all this goes well. Poor JC has had it rough the last couple months and I am sure he would love to get back to normal or some what. Love you honey!

The First Day of School!

August 18th was a big day. This is a big year for us Kate starts kindergarten and Alivia 1st grade. They were so excited, I was nervous to have little Kate off to start school and have my Livi gone all day. That morning Kate was up and dressed by 6:30 am she kept asking if it was time to go. Alivia "Kate is so excited, I am a little but I have done all this before" she had it down so no worries. Watching them line up in their lines and starting their new adventure of this year. Kate's teacher is Ms. Bodon, and Alivia's Mrs. Hall. They both ended up with great teachers I think they will have a lot of fun this year.Today is the 5th day of school and they already are acting so much older. Porter enjoys taking them to school with me. On the rides home I love hearing the stories of their day. They both have made friends and are already wanting play dates I hope they will continue to love school. (Although mommy misses them so much).

Porter had to get in and pose as well of course....

Love you baby girls.....Yes I called them baby, and they will always be my babies.

Porter's 2nd Birthday!

My little man turned 2 on the 12 of August. It is strange how about a week or two prior to their birthdays they seem so much older. He acts like a little man now, he no longer is a baby. He is showing me signs that he is ready to be potty trained. Now if I can just get started, I know he will do great and easy. He is so smart. I am amazed everyday what he does and knows. His birthday was so nice the weather was in the 80's . We decided to just go to a park and enjoy the cool weather. Porter was in heaven he loves the jungle gyms, he also thinks he is big enough to do it all too. We are so blessed to have this little guy in our lives. He brings so much joy, and laughter to our family. He is so funny always loving to give us a laugh, and so sweet he never likes to see anyone sad. He is very much a boy as well climbing and showing his sisters he can definitely hold his own. At the park we were joined by family. He loves to play with all his cousins and be around more boys. Thank you for coming and celebrating his big day. Mommy and Daddy love you with all our hearts you make us so proud. You are growing into an awsome little man.

Porter loves his gramps, always loves to snuggle in his arms.
