JC's Update....
Well it has been a long 9 weeks, especially for JC. He has been not been able to bear any weight. So getting around has not been fun. Yesterday he went to the doctor and now can bear some weight and try to walk alittle he will still need his crutches, but finally some progress.. Physical Therapy starts and it will be aggressive, I am thinking it wont be fun and will probably be painful. The doctor prescribed it for 4 weeks to help gain flexibility and strength. Lets just hope that they don't find more damage. We will see if something has been torn once the physical therapy starts. Cross your fingers, I pray all this goes well. Poor JC has had it rough the last couple months and I am sure he would love to get back to normal or some what. Love you honey!

The First Day of School!
August 18th was a big day. This is a big year for us Kate starts kindergarten and Alivia 1st grade. They were so excited, I was nervous to have little Kate off to start school and have my Livi gone all day. That morning Kate was up and dressed by 6:30 am she kept asking if it was time to go. Alivia "Kate is so excited, I am a little but I have done all this before" she had it down so no worries. Watching them line up in their lines and starting their new adventure of this year. Kate's teacher is Ms. Bodon, and Alivia's Mrs. Hall. They both ended up with great teachers I think they will have a lot of fun this year.Today is the 5th day of school and they already are acting so much older. Porter enjoys taking them to school with me. On the rides home I love hearing the stories of their day. They both have made friends and are already wanting play dates I hope they will continue to love school. (Although mommy misses them so much).

Porter had to get in and pose as well of course....

Porter's 2nd Birthday!
My little man turned 2 on the 12 of August. It is strange how about a week or two prior to their birthdays they seem so much older. He acts like a little man now, he no longer is a baby. He is showing me signs that he is ready to be potty trained. Now if I can just get started, I know he will do great and easy. He is so smart. I am amazed everyday what he does and knows. His birthday was so nice the weather was in the 80's . We decided to just go to a park and enjoy the cool weather. Porter was in heaven he loves the jungle gyms, he also thinks he is big enough to do it all too. We are so blessed to have this little guy in our lives. He brings so much joy, and laughter to our family. He is so funny always loving to give us a laugh, and so sweet he never likes to see anyone sad. He is very much a boy as well climbing and showing his sisters he can definitely hold his own. At the park we were joined by family. He loves to play with all his cousins and be around more boys. Thank you for coming and celebrating his big day. Mommy and Daddy love you with all our hearts you make us so proud. You are growing into an awsome little man.

The girls were so cute today asking to if they could take their babies for a picnic outside. It was sweet. I love little girls. Of course Porter loved it and joined right in.

Sneaky little boy....
We were making cookies and Porter thought he was pretty sneaky stealing the spoon to have a taste. Funny how when you close your eyes it must make it so no one can see you.

The Results!
The doctor said it was a pretty good break. He is now in a cast. JC has to bare no weight on it for 6 weeks. In about 10 days we return to the doctor to makes sure it has not moved. If it has he will have to have surgery and have permanent pins placed. We will have to keep our fingers crossed that the cast will be enough. Thankfully JC's work is being really good with him and putting him to work in the office. This is not a fun way to finish the summer, but we are so happy that his fall was not worse. We love you honey!

The Fall!
Yesterday JC had a fall. Something I always fear in his job. He does so many things working that scare me, carrying glass, going up and down ladders, the weather, the driving, and more. I have just been dreading the day he calls or someone else does and tells me he got hurt. It was about eight at night and he called and told me he fell and heard a pop and now he can't walk. Sadly I felt pretty good it was not worse. After a late night in the ER we found out he had broke his ankle. They just sent him home with pain meds and told him to go see a orthopedic doctor as soon as possible. Crazy you would think you break something and they would have a doctor in the hospital to look and cast it. Tomorrow we head to the doctor and hopefully it just needs to be casted and no surgery. He is doing pretty good not in too much pain, the medicine must be working. Now we just need to figure out work and to get him healed. The down side is it had to be on his right foot, so driving is going to be a problem. Life sure likes to throw you threw a loop here and there. We are just blessed that we are all OK and he will heal up fine and its just a bump in the road.
