playing at home...

The girls were so cute today asking to if they could take their babies for a picnic outside. It was sweet. I love little girls. Of course Porter loved it and joined right in.

Porter just being silly!

A summer camp out in their room. They thought it was so fun. We had the tent up for 3 days.

What a GOOF!

Sneaky little boy....

We were making cookies and Porter thought he was pretty sneaky stealing the spoon to have a taste. Funny how when you close your eyes it must make it so no one can see you.

The Results!

The doctor said it was a pretty good break. He is now in a cast. JC has to bare no weight on it for 6 weeks. In about 10 days we return to the doctor to makes sure it has not moved. If it has he will have to have surgery and have permanent pins placed. We will have to keep our fingers crossed that the cast will be enough. Thankfully JC's work is being really good with him and putting him to work in the office. This is not a fun way to finish the summer, but we are so happy that his fall was not worse. We love you honey!

The Fall!

Yesterday JC had a fall. Something I always fear in his job. He does so many things working that scare me, carrying glass, going up and down ladders, the weather, the driving, and more. I have just been dreading the day he calls or someone else does and tells me he got hurt. It was about eight at night and he called and told me he fell and heard a pop and now he can't walk. Sadly I felt pretty good it was not worse. After a late night in the ER we found out he had broke his ankle. They just sent him home with pain meds and told him to go see a orthopedic doctor as soon as possible. Crazy you would think you break something and they would have a doctor in the hospital to look and cast it. Tomorrow we head to the doctor and hopefully it just needs to be casted and no surgery. He is doing pretty good not in too much pain, the medicine must be working. Now we just need to figure out work and to get him healed. The down side is it had to be on his right foot, so driving is going to be a problem. Life sure likes to throw you threw a loop here and there. We are just blessed that we are all OK and he will heal up fine and its just a bump in the road.

Happy 4th of July!

This 4th was so much fun it pretty much was spread out over the whole weekend where it fell on a Sunday. On Saturday we enjoyed the Kaysville parade. The kids loved it! The girls were all out in the road fighting for candy, Porter tried alittle but he loved clapping and waving at everyone passing. The Elwoods, Yows, and Nana and Grandpa was all there sharing the fun. Once the parade was over we headed out for a BBQ and swimming at Nana and Grandpas house. Poor Jagger was fevering and feeling quite sick, it was so sad. We all then headed to the fireworks, because Jagg was feeling not so good we parked at Ti Pan and watched them from there. We thought we had a pretty good spot until the sprinklers came on. Now with wet blankets it really seemed cold. Crazy Huh, in July.

Monday we spent with all the Schillings having a BBQ and visiting. Jenny and Patrick was out from Arizona, was a blast seeing them. I wish every 4th and holiday was spread out, there was no rush and we felt like we could really visit and enjoy both sides of the family. Happy 4th!

Ahhh Summer by the Pool!

Summer is always a blast! We are so spoiled to have a pool at Grandpa and Nana's house. We pretty much spend our whole summer there. Who could complain. My kids have turned into little fish. Livi and Kate are learning to swim a little with out the life jackets and Porter is starting to control himself in one. He looks so big this summer, they all just grow way to fast.
