Our silly little Kate, she is our little goof of our family. Pulling silly faces and saying the funniest things. She is so fun I don't know what we would do with out her. She lightens up our day.

Here is a Alivia with Zack Effron at Justine's birthday party. She was so funny, she was shy with his cardboard cut out. Love it....

Boys are so funny how they just know how to be tough! Here is a picture of Porter building shelves with his grandpa. He has a bolt trying to hit it through the wood. He ran around all day wanting to be just like his papa. I love my little guy!

(Little Porter in the ER)
I always thought when your kids started school you would have a little more time. No one ever told me that life gets just ten times as busy. It feels like I am at Livi's school as much as she is. Since she is going to a charter school all parents must volunteer 30 hours. Its really not that much, but its already scaring me how to get them all done by the end of the year. It really is a great thing to have, all parents are so much more involved with their kids school. I think all schools should do it. I love dropping off Alivia. She is so adorable with all her school friends. She talks al ot about her friend Vanessa (the one with a boyfriend and they kiss on the cheek). All she does when she gets home is play school with Kate and Porter. She talks sooo cute to them, you can tell she just loves her teacher.
Kate is a little confused why Liv gets to go while she has to come home with me. I really enjoy the time we have just her and I. We have started a pre-school activity book, she really loves it. Kate and Porter play really good together, no one can make Porter laugh as easy as she can. Her some silly faces she makes he just loves it. Kate is so fun she is really laid back.
Porter is just getting to act so much older. He now can say Bye Bye, Mama, Dadda, Ba Bob (for Sponge Bob) and Uck (for Truck). He will talk forever in baby jabbering (mommy loves). Having a boy is so much fun. They just grow way to fast. We did have to take him to the ER (our first visit for any of our kids), he caught the stomach flu and was throwing up non stop. They gave him medication to stop it and it worked. The very next day Kate and Livi joined in the fun. I was up all night the night before with Porter at the hospital. Now I spent the next one holding two buckets. Parenting can be so exhausting. To top it off it was right at the time JC had to head to Idaho. Yikes!
My poor sweet husband just works and works, his hours are long. We miss him so much. He travels every other week to Idaho. I wish life would give him a break. We appreciated him so much, working so hard to take care of our family. We love you!
We are now heading into the fall and the kids are getting so excited for Halloween. I am ready for a little bit cooler air, and the family holidays coming. I hope that life will calm down now and we can all get settled with life has thrown us. Drama is not always something we want in our life's, but I hope my family knows that I will be there for them. Life is crazy and when things are rough we need the love and support of our family.

Alivia's first day!

What a big day!!!! It will be a day I will never forget. My little Liv started school today. I really did a lot better than I thought I would, I expected blubbering. The morning went smooth waking the kids and heading out. Alivia was so excited! We got to the school and went out to the playground where all the kids were meeting. The teachers stood holding signs with their names on them. Alivia walked right over and jumped in line with all her classmates. The bell rang and off they went to their class. They were all so adorable, lined up in their uniforms. She was officially a big school girl now. We called Nana and had her join us for a surprise to pick her up. So Nana, Kate, Porter, Marli, Mia, and Jack came for the ride. We got there and Alivia came out of the school (so cute). She got in the car and first thing she said was "that was so awesome". Since we have come home she keeps saying she wishes it was tomorrow, so she can go again. I am so happy she had fun, I just hope that she will always enjoy school. Having her love it so much makes it that much easier for me to take her back.

Porter's 1st Birthday!

Celebrating Porter's first birthday! He is getting so big, and just walking everywhere. On his birthday we got him one of the little toddler bikes. He thinks he is pretty tough. We spent the day making cupcakes and cake for his party later that night. Alivia, Kate and Porter had a blast testing out the cupcakes. That night we celebrated at Barns Park in Kaysville. JC has been working so many hours I was so happy he was able to get off a little early. Porter is a daddy's boy, he loved having his dad there. All the kids had a blast playing on the jungle gym and chasing the ducks. Although they got more of a kick seeing the sick rats run around the water than the ducks. When it came time for cake, Porter was not sure what to do so he pretty much just played in it. He had fun just making a mess. Thank you all of our wonderful family for sharing his first birthday with us.

Coraline Dolls!

My girls have been obsessed with the new Coraline movie. So my crafty mom and sister Daphne thought it would be fun to make our own Coraline dolls. I of course was nervous I am not that talented when it comes to the sewing machine. Well so we got started, and to make it a little harder we were making the dolls to look like the kids. The girls loved being involved stuffing the body, arms and legs. I was stressed most the time, but I think the girls really enjoyed it. They sleep with them every night. So in the end I am so happy I did, thank you Daph and mom for the encouragement.

Time Flies!

WoW! Summer has been great, but very busy. I really have not had a chance to update my blog in awhile. We have been having so much fun. Alot has happened the last couple months. Little Violet has joined our big family, and is so adorable. Alivia is ready for school. It is sad to think this is the last summer before my little Liv goes to school. I am so excited for her, but I hate she is already old enough to go. Kate is starting to act so much older. She loves to copy her big sister and thinks she will be going to kindergarten with Livi. My baby Porter, well he is not really a baby anymore. He is WALKING, and has been for about a month now, and boy does he have it down. He has caught up speed and is even starting to kick a ball. Its sooooo cute! The kids have enjoyed the summer I think. They have got in alot of swimming, picnicking, fishing, and playing on their new wiggle bikes. Next week is going to be Porter's first birthday. Crazy a year has passed already. We all need to really take in those special moments we have with our children. They grow so fast. I really don't know where this last year has gone. I am so grateful I have three beautiful children, and a wonderful husband. The next couple weeks I want to get in as much fun as I can. School seems to start so early. Here are a couple pics of the little kids enjoying the summer!

A New Arrival!

Today was a eventful day. I got a phone call around 11 o'clock from my mom telling me my little sis Tara was going to have her baby. I was so excited for her I jumped up and grabbed my kids and headed up to the hospital. When I arrived my sisters Daphne, Brooke, my mom and Dad were all there, joined by five excited cousins. We all took turns visiting Tara in her room, but only a couple hours went by and off they went to the OR. We all sat anxious waiting for news. Finally the nurse came and told us Tara was asking for us. Tara looked so happy, she told us all the fun little details. Our little niece is in the NICU, she is so precious. She is 6 weeks early and was 6 lbs 9 oz (wow). We are all going to pray she can come home soon. I am so happy for Tara and Mike they are going to make amazing parents. We love you guys! Here's a couple pics from our day at the hospital.

SPRING!!!

Oh this weather has been soooo nice. The kids have been having so much fun outside. This past month has been busy and exciting. Alivia attended her Kindergarten Round Up, she said her school is so awesome. When we got there she walked off easy with the teachers, off to do activities while mom went in for a meeting with the kindergarten teachers. She obviously will not have any problem leaving me. When we got home Kate was a little sad, she told me she really really bad wants to go to Gindergarten. I will definitely have to spend some special time with her once Liv starts. Porter is officially on the go he started crawling about two weeks ago. He is EVERYWHERE he follows Alivia and Kate all over the house. What is scary he already pulls him self up next to the couch and tries to walk. Falling and standing on some very wobbly legs, he wants to walk. I just hope it takes awhile he is only 8 months please no walking yet, he is my baby and I want him to stay little, at least for a little longer. JC has been traveling to Idaho alot or it seems like. I feel bad he works so hard, I appreciate everything he does. I really could have not asked for a better husband. JC I love you!

HAPPY EASTER!

Easter was so much fun, the Easter bunny came and hid eggs all over the house for the kids. Alivia and Kate loved their baskests and Porter just tried to eat the grass. We then headed out to Nana's house for the Easter BBQ and hunt. It was so fun to see everyone, the weather was perfect. The kids enjoyed their hunt and boy there was eggs everywhere, the baskets were full. My little Porter loved sitting on the grass trying to figure out what all the fuss was about. Happy Easter Everyone!

CABIN FEVER!!!!

GETTING CABIN FEVER!!! We just can't wait till its spring. The cold weather makes us all just a little grumpy. The kids really let us know they have been cooped up too much. So finally a nice day to the rescue. The other day was nice enough the girls got to get out and play on their bikes. Livi thinks she is so big on her new bike. Hee Hee Kate is getting alittle big for hers, guess its time to get her a new bike. I am so ready for some warm weather.

Kate's Birthday!

Well my little girl has turned 4 CRAZY. It just seems like yesterday that she was a little stinker just walking. We gave her just the birthday she wanted a yellow Cinderella Dinosaur Birthday. Everything was yellow, her cake had dinosaurs and of course Cinderella came into the mix. She had so much fun on her birthday we took her to Chucky Cheese, joined by a couple of her cousins. I think she loved every second of the day, and now already told me plans for her next one.

Porter's Blessing

Well our little one is getting bigger we had him blessed on Sunday the 4th. I am so thankful his grandpa Jim blessed him, and having his great grandfather there was so special. I appreciate all of our family that came and supported us.
